Helicopter Fly-outs
We use Helicopter Fly-outs to access the upper reaches of the river systems. We fly deep into the Alaska Range to fish the canyons and side streams where the fish are holding and spawning.
| Through the use of helicopters, we are able to fish creeks that even Alaska Bush planes cannot reach. |

We also are able to fish many creeks on different river systems in one day. These extreme upper creeks and streams support runs of King Salmon, Silver Salmon, Sockeye Salmon, and Chum Salmon. The Rainbow Trout follow the Salmon up the rivers and into these creeks.
| Rainbow Trout grow to enormous proportions and gain incredible weight in just a few weeks. They are quick to hit any egg pattern flies and spinning tackle. |
The Arctic Grayling fishing is incredible in the clear rocky waters. These creeks have crystal clear water draining out of the side canyons of the Alaska Range. |
We are able to fly from 20-50 miles into the mountains through canyons with 300 ft vertical walls and land a few feet from the fish.
| We can fly further and land in the mountain passes to look out over Western Alaska. These pass areas abound in Dall Sheep, with Caribou, Moose, and Brown Bear moving through. |

This is the ultimate in fishing, sight-seeing, and wildlife viewing/photography. The opportunity to land on a mountain top to view Dall Sheep should not be missed. |
Herds of Caribou migrate back and forth through these passes.
| Dall Sheep are year-round residents of the mountain slopes and passes. |
Brown Bear are frequently seen grazing on wild berries and plants. |
| Blueberry plants abound in these mountain passes, and a handful is the reward for a few minutes of picking. Keep in mind that Bears like blueberries too! |
